Everyone is invited to the dedication of the plaque to Robert Henry Forsyth, one of the original six Fassifern Brothers who then moved to the Darling Downs to establish a thriving farming life for himself and his family, and bachelor brother Francis Forsyth. He married Mary Ann Cowan, daughter of William Cowan and Margaret Robertson of Croftby near Boonah and neighbours of the Forsyths and Yates families in the area.

Lunch at The Pub
After the dedication of the Plaque at the East Greenmount all are welcome to “Step back in time” and visit historic Rudd’s Pub, the home of Dad and Dave. Rudd’s Pub is situated in Nobby.
There is free camping for motor homes and caravans across the road. You can dine in the Heritage Lounge where folklore says that Steele Rudd sat while writing his famous Australian “Dad & Dave” stories.
Rudd’s Pub offers a wide range of delicious meals and morning teas 7 days a week, Lunches from 12.00 to 2pm Monday to Saturday and 11.30 to 2.30 Sunday.
