Clan Forsyth Events
All Clan members and prospective members are encouraged to join us for one of our many social and family gatherings that are held throughout the year. Learn a traditional skill, such Scottish Dancing, or just come along to one of our social events and re-acquaint yourself with close and distant family.
The Clan has annual events that are enjoyed by all, and some of these include:
- Clan Forsyth Dinner, where guests enjoy Scottish Country Dancing, as well as ballroom and modern dancing, a three course buffet style meal, themed trivia, raffle prizes and much more. Held in March or April annually.
- Activities Day, where the clan gathers to enjoy a day filled with board games, cards, a disc bowl competition and other fun activities held on the last Sunday of May
- AGM Picnic, where members come along to Peak Crossing park and enjoy lunch, catching up with fellow members, an annual disc bowl competition and the Annual General Meeting on the last Sunday in August.
- Bus Tour, a tour around the area that holds so much Clan Forsyth history as well as showing off the amazing projects that Clan Forsyth Queensland has contributed to the community
- Boonah Clydsedale Spectacular, a wonderful show held at the Boonah Showgrounds that includes a Scottish Drums and Pipes parade that Clan Forsyth participates in the Clan Class.
