Clan Donald
Clan Donald Society of Queensland is an Australian State based organisation, involved in genealogy and traditions associated with ancestry from “Chlainn Domhnaill” and its branches.
The aim of the Society is to:
– maintain communication for and with the clansfolk of Clan Donald and it’s Branches (Septs).
– to foster an appreciation of the culture of Scotland.
– to encourage and support research into the history and genealogy of Clan Donald and its people, and it’s contribution to the development of Australia.
– to organise and assist in the conduct of functions and events for members in Queensland.
The Society meets on a regular basis in Brisbane and is involved with both hosting and attending Scottish events throughout the year. Their members enjoy the friendliness and a sense of “Clan” within the Society and have common goals associated with traditional values from our heritage.
