Samuel married Mary Toppins and they had Eight children.
Samuel and Mary lef Ireland on 5/6/1875 on the ship "Renfrewshire"and arrived in Brisbane on 20.9.1875. They settled in the Flinders,Fassifern area of Queensland.
Both Samuel and Mary were aged 45 Years when they came to Australia.
Samuel's son Samual was to be known as Red Sam.
Both Samuel and his wife Mary are burried in the Harrisville Cemetery.
